I am suprised that brine a turkey is dipping it in salt for a while= hours can cause osmosis to work both ways. The cranberries also suprised that they are the thickest from the fruit group.
Wow, these tips are good to use. I never heard of some of those foods and it would be good for my family and I to try them one day. Also, I was surprised to hear that onions, cinnamon, and garlic can contain plenty of things and lead to such diseases.
what I think about this video was that it showed us what is really going on when we eat stuff for thanksgiving. But I think that people have to watch what they eat because not everything is meant for us in this generation. but what really caught my attention was the turkey because it was saying that it could be possible to get cancer or something like that.
I think that this shows us what is going on during thanksgiving. I also didn't doing that with garlic could help that. It also showed me what happens when you use antacids wheb you have heartburn.
i think that this Video is helpful at showing us what's happening in our foods during thanksgiving.. but I don't think it would help or even benefit me in knowing about these things because I don't cook the food all I do is show up on the scene and eat the food then take a nap after's and basically repeat the same thing except at a different family house.
These are good tips to use. Some of those foods I never even heard of and the sounds weird. People have to watch what they eat not only on Thanksgiving but period. A lot of things are meant for us to eat this generation. The turkey part really caught my attention because of the cancer part.
i feel this is helpful but don't think anyone will take it into consideration because not everyone cooks but mainly eats. The turkey really caught my attention bc that's what I eat the most on thanksgiving
This is really cool how biology applies to everyday living. I always knew about the acid in your stomach going good with a tum or something after being stuffed. However I'm still confused with the concept of the allinase coming out of the garlic
I think this was a really helpful video. Now i know what to cut back on when its time to pick up a plate and a fork for thanksgiving. I don't want any of these things to happen while i'm enjoying begin with family and friends.

I never thought chemistry was really an influence on turkeys. I really learned a lot from the video, I would've never thought osmosis would have something to do with turkeys. Really good tips!
I feel like this video was very good. I did not know that biology applied to everyday life. I will listen to what they said in the video because I won't to be healthy and my family too. I will use these tips on Thanksgiving because I have a big family and I would love to tell them what I learned!
Wow! I was really amazed by that video. I never thought of biology or science period showing itself in everyday life. I always thought it was point less and useless. But now I see what causes me health issues. One interesting fact that I learnt was that cranberries could possibly cause cancer if I heard that correctly. It really kind of scared me because I drink cranberry juice all the time. So this definitely will make me watch what I eat and how much a eat over the holidays!
